Description: Carlylse Pemberton Photographs include digital scans and corresponding prints of nitrate negatives shot by Carlysle Pemberton (BS 1910) approximately 27-30 years after he graduated form the University showing scenes of campus including the Alma Mater, Armory, Auditorium, Broadwalk, Engineering Hall, Marching Illini, Military exercises, New and Old Agriculture Buildings, Observatory, Stadium, surveying classes, tennis courts, University Hall demolition, and the Women's Gymnasium. The original deteriorating nitrate negatives were destroyed after scans had been created and verified.
