Graham (1924-82), professor of Journalism (1965-82), including correspondence; transcripts of tape recorded interviews; newspaper and magazine clippings; briefs, motions and decisions; notes; manuscripts drafts and typewritten copy for One Man One Vote; The American Levellers, the story of the personalities and the legal and political factors involved in the Kidd vs. McCanless and Magraw vs. Donovan cases leading to the Baker vs. Carr decision of the Supreme Court relating to legislative representation.  Correspondents and interviewees include Walter Chandler, Archibald Cox, James Cummings, Maclin P. Davis Jr., Frank Farrell, Dan Magraw, Wayne Miller, William E. Miller, Tommy Osborn, Charles Rhyne, Early Warren and Ben West.  The series includes research files for an article "Turmoil in the Grad Schools" centering on the University of Illinois and an article on violence in American cities commissioned by the New York Time Magazine containing notes on research and personal interviews, article drafts and final copies, and related articles and documentation (1968).
