Description: Papers of William Spence Robertson (1872-1955), professor of history (1909-41), head of department (1937-41), includes manuscripts of "Latin America, the Monroe Doctrine, and the League of Nations" (1930), "France and Latin American Independence" (1939), "The Memorabilia of Augustín de Iturbide" (ca. 1945), bibliographies, correspondence relating to his research and publications (1922-34) and as department head (1937-40)  with President Arthur C. Willard, illustrations, photographs, newsclippings, research notes, journal reprints (1910-47), related to Latin American history, independence and international relations, with particular emphasis on leaders such Francisco de Miranda, Simón Bolívar, Augustín de Iturbide, and José de San Martín.
