Description: Correspondence and committee reports between the secretary of the Council of Administration (David Kinley, 1904-06, Edgar Townsend, 1906-13, Kendric C. Babcock, 1913-15, and Thomas A. Clark, 1915-31) and deans, faculty, parents, and students concerning council functions, student academic problems, cheating, dismissals, admissions, registration, grades, honors, student organizations, student loans, women's residence rules and social and athletic activities. The series includes letters sent by Clark (1912-31) relating to dismissals, honor system, grading, discipline, the Illinois Union, fraternity rushing and Theta Nu Epsilon and committee reports.
