Description: Report of the Provost's Committee on Student Governance, charged with responsibility for conducting a comprehensive study of policies, regulations and administrative procedures concerning the extracurricular activities of undergraduate students at the Urbana-Champaign campus and "to develop a definitive statement of the guiding principles that should underlie the governance of University students." The report includes a statement of principles; chapters on the TEXT of rules, procedures of governance and problems and areas of friction; appendices with statistical tables and abstracts of rules and regulations and a summary of recommendations.
