Educational and Institutional Organizations File contains by-laws, correspondence, lists, minutes, proposals, reports, studies, and surveys concerning organizations with which the AALS shares either specific legal education interests or broad education interests relating to general education accreditation and standards, legal advancement, placement policies, and tenure policies. Organizations represent Law, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Social Sciences and include the American Association of Law Libraries (ca. 1964-77), the American Law Institute-American Bar Institute (1966-75), the Council on Legal Education for Professional Responsibilities (1968-74, 1976-77), the Educational Resources Information Center (1966-75), the Ford Foundation (1956-58, 1962-73), and the National Commission on Accrediting (1950-74).
