Description: Monthly Wildlife Research Letter, a cooperative publication of the Department of Conservation and the Natural History Survey, containing reports and data on wildlife populations, effects of weather, breeding patterns, censuses, diseases and habitats. The letters include regular reports of observations and research on pheasants, rabbits, prairie chickens, bobwhites and squirrels. From 1939 to 1942, the Survey published Wildlife Research News for the general public as the Wildlife Research Division's response to "the need for informal publication of research findings and observations of the wildlife technicians."
