Description: Printed proceedings of the biennial Marketing Symposium, edited by faculty of the Marketing Department and published by the Bureau of Business Management since 1961, and by the Bureau of Economic and Business Research (1951-59). The programs are built on central themes relating to the conceptual basis for a science of marketing, with the consideration of concepts, as the basis of the ninth meeting (1963). The series includes proceedings of a conference on "Business Application of Statistical Sampling Methods" (1950) and "Marketing Analysis for Societal Problems" from the National Conference on Social Marketing (1972).
