Description: Records of the Harold H. Armstrong farm in Green Township (Woodford County), recorded on Illinois Farm Management Service Farm Account Books (1925-31, 1937-89), the records contain detailed information on farm operations for each year including an inventory of land, improvements, buildings and livestock; livestock fees and sales; dairy and egg sales; machinery, equipment and automobile inventory and operating expenses; map of the farm and crop-system summary; crops raised and sold; inventory of feed, grain and supplies; cash receipts and expenses; summary of the expenses including taxes and unpaid family labor; capital purchases and sales; products used on the farm and a financial business analysis summary. The records include a USDA record book and receipts (1934), forms and communications concerning operations and taxes, soil conservation plan (1974), polled Hereford certificate books (1948-81), and an obituary for Harold H. Armstrong (1989). The average increased from 191(1925) to 290(1939-42) and decreased to 182(1965-79) and 120(1987-89).
