Ruegsegger (1920- ) assistant to Avery Brundage (1950-75), including correspondence, documents, notes, newspaper and magazine articles, audiotapes and film concerning the Olympic Games, including the controversy over South Africa's participation (1968) and the killing of eleven members of the Israeli team (1972); the International Olympic Committee, (1965-75), including audiotapes of meetings of the IOC, the Executive Committee, and the Executive Board (1969-72); management and sale of Brundage's real estate and mining properties in Chicago, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Calif., and Nevada, including the La Salle Hotel (Chicago ) and the Montecito Country Club; Brundage's investments; Brundage's 80th birthday celebration (1967), Brundage's marriage to Mariann Princess Reuss (1973-75), and dispute with other executors over Avery Brundage's estate (1975-78).
