Description: The Ralph D. Dralle Autobiography (2003), "Launch Out Into the Deep," primarily covers the period of the author's life (4/1/1923- ). In addition, there is extensive genealogical research which traces the author's family back to the early 19th century. Dralle grew up on a farm in rural Illinois. During the 1940's, he attended and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Agricultural Law. As a student, he was an active member of the Farmhouse Fraternity and President of the YMCA. He went on to work in the agricultural publishing and advertising fields. This extensive autobiography (520 pgs.) contains reminiscences about daily life and major historical events.
