Alumni class files containing memorabilia consisting of class day, commencement, literary society and dance programs and announcements; invitations for student events; tickets of parties campaigning for student government and prize-winning orations.

The 1874 folder contains a copy of the University Reporter (9/8/74).

The 1878 folder contains questions for an examination in history and geography.

The 1880 folder contains an account of the cyclone written by C. W. Curtiss and two copiesof The Vindicator (2/24/80) attacking Regent John M. Gregory.

The 1881 folder includes a Champaign County Gazette (6/15/81) article on the history andwork of the University, The Vindicator (2/24/81 and 3/5/81) and the Constitution and Laws of the College Government.

The 1883 folder includes Cecil's Book of Natural History, attacking Selim H. Peabody, and the bogus Illini (2/21/91).

The 1885 folder includes a letter from Selim H. Peabody to Dr. Charles B. Gibson concerning the changing of the University's name (5/24/85).
