Biographical Information:

Established on December 18, 1968, the Office of Administrative Studies collects and analyzes data relating to faculty and staff activities, departmental teaching loads, program costs, and other campus operations as determined by the Chancellor. The Office also provides the Director of the University Bureau of Institutional Research with the data and reports required by the Bureau. Prior to December 18, 1968, the Bureau of Institutional Research held responsibility for both University-wide and campus-level activities. The establishment of the Office of Administrative Studies represented an effort to differentiate these responsibilities, placing campus activities under this office.1
