Description:Theory into Practice (1975), later titled, Theory and Research into Practice (1976-), consists of books produced together by several organizations, including the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) and the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) (1975-1989), ERIC and the Speech Communication Association (SCA) (1975-1981), and some published exclusively by NCTE (1990-), which aims to help teachers incorporate the best educational theories into their classroom by focusing on narrow topics that address specific educational needs, including how to train tutors, structure classroom activities, improve students' spelling, teach critical thinking, and reduce writing anxiety.
