Description: Investment and landed property ledger of the Sharp family, which was headed by William Sharp, who owned Fulham House and other property in the south-west London borough of Fulham. In addition to these properties and the income from Fulham bridge, the ledger contains information on investments in American stock (1798-1809); the Sierra Leone Company (1790-91); the Coventry, the Oxford, and the Grand Junction canals (1798-1810); and 1800 mortgage held from Samuel Whitbread (b. 1758- d. 1815) and several other mortgages, bonds and shares. The ledger is titled "Private Ledger No. 2" and includes a 3 page index.
