Scope and Contents

Peoples' Alliance on Central American (PACA) Records (1984-1991), including flyers, brochures, other advertising, correspondence, and informational publications of PACA, as well as other Central American organizations; namely, Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization, Women's International Resource Exchange, and the Champaign-Urbana Ecumenical Committee on Sanctuary. Programmatic records exist of specific initatives of these organizations, such as the Nicaraguan Exchange and Work Brigades, as well as Witness For Peace. The series also includes articles on American political and military involvement in Central America, as well as copies of CIA materials (1985).
