The Office of International Programs and Studies (OIPS) was established by the Board of Trustees on May 24, 1962; its Director was given general responsibilities to supervise and coordinate programs, encourage instruction and research, and disseminate information.

Indian Agricultural Development Publications including books, journal articles and monographs on India, higher education, rural development, food production, planning, technology and technical assistance by the Agency for International Development (1964-71), Ford and Rockefeller Foundations (1969-70), the Indian government ministries, Indian Institute of Management (1967-70) and American universities and publishers. The series includes publications on the work of Missouri at Orissa, Ohio State at Punjab, Kansas State and other universities.
NOTE: A large part of this series was missing after research use in the 1985-88 period. Users should check the SFA for the holdings in this series and a further explanation.
