Description: Study of Student Economics Project File of Project Director Jerry H. Curnutt (Assistant in Economics, 1959-60) contains correspondence, drafts and final published report, forms for student background and economic outlook and income and expense diary, for a study of the financial conditions of a sample of students during the second semester 1959-60, and including coding sheets, data processing reports, data report tables, and a sample of the forms completed by the students relating to total sources of income and debt, money obtained from savings, loans, family members, employment, other sources, and expenses relating to tuition, textbooks, supplies, transportation, housing, food, clothing, and entertainment and correlating to variables including student age, gender, marital status, college/curriculum, and parents' demographics.
