Description: Lectureship Program Files contain correspondence and memoranda to the NCTE Executive Committee members, executive staff, editors and representatives of affiliated groups, local hosts and speakers concerning co-sponsorship of the expenses for the speaking tour program, including applications and confirmation for guest speakers, schedules, agenda, lists of lecturers, lecturers' photographs and biographical information, evaluation and reports from the hosts and the lecturers, the press coverage and other necessary arrangements for a program to promote closer relationships between NCTE and English Associations and to assist local associations interested in securing program speakers.
