Historical Note:

Marjorie Laird "Marge" Richmond (1929-2017) was a legal secretary and benefactor of the University of Illinois with her husband, Jack C. Richmond. 

They donated funds for the Richmond Gallery at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, the Richmond Studio, the men's head basketball coach, and the Champaign County Courthouse clock tower. 

She is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery with her husband.
