The Art Libraries Society of North America Archives documents the history of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS\/NA) and art librarianship. In 2009, ARLIS\/NA transferred its records to the University Archives at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Since then, the Society and the Archives have worked together to grow, maintain, and present the archival material to the Society’s members and the general public.<\/p>\n
These records include papers, photographs, and audiovisual materials from ARLIS\/NA headquarters and individual ARLIS\/NA members. Once processing for a record series is completed, users can find it listed on this website or through the Archives Holdings Database<\/a>. Be sure to check back; we continually add new holdings.<\/p>\n The ARLIS\/NA Archives is open to public use.
