Sousa Archives and Center for American Music in the News

Yesterday afternoon WCIA Channel 3 News did a short story on the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music for their CiLiving community segment.  During the interview the Center’s 1910 Columbia disc player was used to listen to a 1913 recording of the Sousa Band performing Sousa’s Thunderer March.  In addition Aaron Romm performed a brief holiday song on the 1886 Henry Distin pocket cornet that belonged to Herbert L.
