One Community Together through Music Returns October 1, 2022

The Center’s One Community Together through Music programming continues again this fall as part of the Uniting Pride of Champaign County celebration.  The purpose of the Festival is to promote the well-being of our entire community, and especially our LGBTQ+ members, through advocacy, education, outreach, and engagement.  The 2022 CU Pride Parade will step off on October 1 at 11am in Campustown and will make its way to downtown Urbana at noon to kick off the CU Pride Fest Fair with vendors, activities, art, and community organizations sharing information.  This year our One Community Together (OCT) stage, formerly  part of the Sweetcorn Festival, will provide music performances starting at noon by many of our local music ensembles.  The OCT stage will be located at the intersection of Urbana’s Broadway and Main Streets.
