The Art Libraries Society of North America Archives documents the history of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) and art librarianship. In 2009, ARLIS/NA transferred its records to the University Archives at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Since then, the Society and the Archives have worked together to grow, maintain, and present the archival material to the Society’s members and the general public.
These records include papers, photographs, and audiovisual materials from ARLIS/NA headquarters and individual ARLIS/NA members. Once processing for a record series is completed, users can find it listed on this website or through the database. Be sure to check back; we continually add new holdings.
