  • The University of Illinois Archives Celebrates the Sesquicentennial

NOTICE: Due to construction on Orchard Street, the Archives Research Center may be difficult to access during the month of May. Visitors should access the building by turning onto Orchard Street from George Huff Drive. To access the building by bus, please check the MTD reroutes and alerts here.

Founded in 1989 with funding from the Stewart S. Howe Foundation endowment, the Student Life and Culture Archives collects, preserves, and makes available materials documenting fraternity and sorority history nationally and all aspects of student experience at the University of Illinois.
