News and Events

The Student Life & Culture Archives hosts a number of events throughout the year, both reoccurring and special.

The National Archives Conference for Fraternities and Sororities, held every other year on the University campus, attracts attendees from around the country to learn about they best way to preserve their heritage.

The Town & Gown Speaker Series, new in 2014, is in collaboration with the Champaign County Historical Archives. Each event in the series highlights a topic of historical significance to the campus and the community.

In addition to these events, the Archives offers exhibits on display at the Archives Research Center, as well as smaller traveling exhibits for special events such as anniversaries or conferences.
