This exhibit presents the main landmarks, struggles and achievements in the history of the Disability Resources & Educational Services (DRES) center at UIUC, and highlighting the leadership of DRES’ director, Dr. Timothy Nugent. Nungent recently passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.
This exhibit was originally prepared in April, 2011 by Melissa Salrin. The original exhibit can be found here. The Archives want to share it again, to honor the big contribution of Dr. Nugent to our University and to the entire country.
The exhibit was installed on the second floor of the Student Dining and Residential Programs Building, 301 E. Gregory Drive, Champaign, from April 15-May 6.
