The Archives offers a variety of duplicating services to its patrons and researchers. These range from photocopies of documents to photographic prints to copies of audio and film holdings. Please note that use of duplicated materials are subject to copyright restrictions, and are attended by certain costs and policies.
Photocopying
Self-service copying machines are available in the Reading Rooms at a cost of 20 cents per page. Also, if you are unable to visit the Center, it is possible for staff to copy requested items. Fees associated with photocopying are detailed in our Fee Schedule.
Before viewing and using textual archival and manuscript materials, please sign and submit our Agreement on Duplicating Textual Archival and Manuscript Materials using AdobeSign, or download as a PDF and return to illiarch@illinois.edu.
Digital Reproductions
You may purchase high resolution photographic prints or digital files. Many Audio and Visual formats in the collections can also be duplicated. Costs associated with such requests are documented in our Fee Schedule.
Many items from our collections have already been digitized. If you would like a digital reproduction of material you find on this site, please submit a request, noting either a description of the item, or providing a hyperlink to the item(s) in question. You may also request reproduction of material you have found at the University Archives, but is not present in our Digital Collections.
Before viewing and using audio, photographic, musical, motion picture, & audiovisual works, please sign and submit our Agreement to Conditions for Use of Audio, Photographic, Musical, Motion Picture, & Audiovisual Works using AdobeSign, or download as a PDF and return to illiarch@illinois.edu.
